Find a pole standing upright --- like a sturdy flag pole ---- strong enough to support your weight. Face the pole. Grab it with both hands at about chest height. Now, with feet square, about shoulder with -- do a squat while holding the pole. Shift as much weight as possible to your rear end as you squat. Do it about 10 or 20 times. This should pull your problem back into alignment. You will probably feel that this is helping but it still takes a few days of doing this to get completely over the problem.Hope it helps.

OMG i pulled a muscle in my back a few mos ago, i could not move and hardly breathe for a while. i never had such pain. i went to ER <hubby called 911 since i had the baby with me> and they had me just do motrin. it took a while but it all went away. u can take motrin 4 tabs every 8 hrs, thats like prescription strength and the motrin bottle wont tell u that its ok to take that much, but for a few days its ok. motrin works cause its a anti-inflamatory and lortabs are a bit much in this case. it will be better in a few days. if not then there is a bigger problem than a pulled muscle. I was under the impression bones crack, muscles tear...And if you hear your muscle tear, there will be no doubt about what happened to you!!!!
and you sure as hell would need more than motrin to help that there...:smoker2:

i had rotator cuff surgery and it led to muscle atrophy in my right side - as i wasnt able to play sport using those muscles any more

i tried many things to relieve the pain down my side - shoulder/back

i decided to buy a tempurepedic bed thing - i can tell you 100 % when i wake up in the morning that stiffness is abt 90 % gone

highly recommend these style of beds for back pain
